Saint John Track Athletes Chosen for Hershey North American Championships

Five NB athletes have qualified to compete in the 2010 Hershey North American Track & Field Championships in Hershey, PA in August, including three from the Saint John area.

Congratulations to SJTC athletes: Attending for his second time will be 14 year old Josh Shanks, who will compete in the boys13-14 1600m race. Joining him are Pierre Dumouchel who will compete in the 13-14 boys 800m

Also from Saint John area the boys will be joined by  Sarah Kean who will compete in the 11-12 Girls 800m. Rounding out the team will be Andrew Leblanc and Jack Bershire... >> more

At the Saint John Track Club our experienced coaches work with athletes of all ages and skill level toward personal goals, developing technique and creating experience in athletics. We focus on improving strength, agility and speed with respect to the fundamental skills of virtually all sports: running, jumping and throwing.

The athletes have the opportunity to participate on the club's team in a number of meets occurring in the New Brunswick and atlantic region.
