Barry Britt wins Double at the WAC Championships May 12 2013
Congratulations to Barry Britt of Hampton for winning the 5000m and 10000m events at the 2013 Western Athletic Conference Championships held in Arlington Texas by The University of Texas at Arlington this past weekend. Barry won the tactical distance races in times of 14:44.77 for the 5000m and 31:42.77 for the 10000m. The outdoor season for New Brunswick athletes was capped off on Saturday with the ASEA Warm-Up Meet, co-hosted by Riverview High School and sanctioned by NBIAA. At the Saint John Track Club our experienced coaches work with athletes of all ages and skill level toward personal goals, developing technique and creating experience in athletics. We focus on improving strength, agility and speed with respect to the fundamental skills of virtually all sports: running, jumping and throwing.
The athletes have the opportunity to participate on the club's team in a number of meets occurring in the New Brunswick and atlantic region.
