Sep 29 2005 - Saint John Invitational Cross Country

Just over 200 young athletes from middle and high schools of Southern NB gathered to compete at the 1st annual Saint John Invitation Cross Country meet held at River View Park (former Centra-Care Site) on the West Side of Saint John. Organized by the Saint John Track Club and co-hosted with Saint John High School this NBIAA meet was the first held in the city for many years. It was a wonderfully sunny day with an outstanding turn out resulting in some exciting individual races and team competitions. Individual and team results from the events were as follows. Sep 3 2005 - Canada Games Results Congrats to the Canada Games Athletes from the Saint John Track Club. Chris Brake finished 14th in the 10,000 with a time of 34:04.Barry Britt had another PB in the 5,000 with a time of 15:49.94 and also finished 14thJessica Belliveau had a PB and NB juvenile record in the 800 with a time of 2:14.45 finishing 13th and also a NB Juv., Jr. and Sr. record in the 400 hurdles finishing 9th in 64.60.Sep 1 2005 - Legion National Track and Field Championships in Edmonton, Alberta Congratulations to Saint John Track members who participated as part of Team New Brunswick at the Legion National Track and Field Championships in Edmonton, Alberta.
Other Saint John Track Club members were: Rochelle MacDonald who came 6th in the Long Jump with a PB of 4:53. She was also a member of the silver medal Medley Relay team. Jessica Belliveau came 5th in each of her events which were the 400m with a PB of 59:42, 400m hurdles and 800m. Ali Kilisli finished 12th in the 3000m. Team New Brunswick also finished 2nd in the juvenile womens 4x100m relay, 3rd in the midget womens sprint medley relay and 3rd in the midget mens sprint medley relay.
