Mar 27 2006 - Run - Jump - Throw Program
Run - Jump - Throw Program to be offered in 4 local schools. The Saint John Track Club will be offering a Run Jump Throw program to grade five classes at 4 area elementary schools. Glen Falls, St Patricks, Fairvale and Lakefield schools will benefit from this program that is funded through the Province of NB's GO NB program. Each class will have 8 session to introduce them to Track and Field events and skills. Instructors Adam Kellar, Nicole McQuoid, Kari Pettinger and Mandi Gagnon will be delivering the program during the month of April. With luck we will receive further funding next year to offer it in other schools as well. the club will also use this as an opporunity to promote the Hershey Track Program and involvement with the club.
