All the top 6 will be automatically registered by the meet organizers so there is no need to complete a registration form. Event Info & Map Jun 21 2008 - Provincial Hershey Meet Gets Record Attendance Over 350 youth from across New Brunswick competed in the June 21st Hershey Provincial Final in Oromocto. The meet organized by Athletics NB had record attendance and featured exciting races in all age groups. Saint John area athletes faired well with a number of athletes getting first place finishes in their events.Over 30 Greater Saint John athletes placed in the top six allowing them to advance to the Hershey Atlantic Final in Lower Sackville, N.S. on July 6th. Full Results Jun 18 2008 - Club Members smash provincial marks Drawn from an article published Wednesday June 18th, 2008 in the Telegraph Journal The province's top athletes feasted on the middle school athletics record book, setting 29 new standards at the New Brunswick Middle School athletic championships Monday at Oromocto. Nick MacMackin of Harry Miller in Rothesay was part of four records in Grade 7 boys racing. He won the 1,500 metre run in 4:40.70 and the boys 800 metres in 2:15.71. He was part of the school's 1,000 sprint medley team that set a new mark of 2:30.76. The other runners were Scott Fenwick, Nathan D'Entremont and Liam Kettlewell. That team also set a new record in the 4x100 relay for Grade 7 boys in 55.73 seconds. Kate Robnson of Barnhill took the grade 7 girls 400 metres in a new record os 1:04.71. Erin Kelly of Barnhill ran a 1:04.52 clocking in the 400 metres in the grade 8 girls. Erin was also part of the Barnhill team of Tori Hardt, Melanie Mason, Erin Kelly and Monica Newman took the 4x100 title in a record 56.70. The meet featured 461 athletes for 17 schools.
