Alex Coffin: Club Coach / Program Coordinator
We are pleased to announce that Alex Coffin will be working on a part time basis as a coach and program coordinator. The club has seen consistent growth over the last few years and in 2008, with over 140 athletes registered in our programs was the largest club in Atlantic Canada. Alex’s role will be to work with the volunteer coaches to provide direct coaching to our athletes and support the delivery of programs like Run, Jump & Throw.
Alex is well known in the local running community and has a strong background in recreation and coaching. He is also \the owner of the Alex Coffin’s Fitness Shops and will be performing this new role in addition to operating the stores.
The club hopes that with this position we will be able to further improve and expand our programs in Greater Saint John. This position has been made possible due to financial assistance provided by the Saint John Canada Games Foundation.
