Feb 15 2009 - Saint John Track Athletes Compete at NB Indoor Track Champs Oromocto N.B., February 14, 2009: Twenty-seven members from the Saint John Track Club competed at the New Brunswick Indoor Championships this past weekend in Oromocto. Local athletes faired well in the field of close to 200 competitors from around the Maritimes. The club’s athletes ranged from ages 7-18 with many strong individual performances and personal bests including the following first place finishes: Mackenzie Wyatt 1st place Shot put Girls ages 11/under Katie Robinson 1st place 800m Girls ages 14-15 Shannon Morris 1st place Shot put Girls ages 14-15 Alec Alston 1st place 60m Boys ages 12-13 Intekhab Houssain 1st place 60m Boys ages 14-15 Josh Shanks 1st place 1500m Boys ages 12-13 1st place Shot put Nick Duffy 1st place Shot put Boys ages 11 & under Mitch Quigg 1st place Shot put Boys ages 16-17 Link to a full summary of club results Link to complete results on the ANB web site Feb 5 2009 - Barry Britt Selected as part of National Cross Country Team

Team Canada lists have been released for NACAC XC Champs this March in Florida. Three NB athletes have been named to the team with the SJTC’s, Barry Britt being one of them. Barry is currently at university at Georgia State in Atlanta.
Barry will be attending the NACAC champs in Florida along with New Brunswick athletes Geneviève Lalonde and Joël Bourgeois. Congratulations to all of them.
