Atlantic Indoor Meet
Reminder – Regarding Atlantic Indoor - March 5th in Moncton
Entries must be sent to me by March 1st.
There will be no track session on March 6th, March 7th or March 10th during March Break.
Sessions will resume at Harry Miller Middle School on Sunday March 13th.

Feb 21 2011 - Barry Britt 4th at NACAC Cross Country
In his first international event as a senior Barry Britt did not disappoint finishing 4th at the at the North America, Central America and Caribbean Athletic Association cross-country championships in Trinidad and Tobago. With a time of 23:53.8 for 8000m Barry finished 4th overall (2nd Canadian) and help Team Canada finished 2nd in the team championships! Way to go Barry!!
Feb 12 2011 - NB Indoor Champs 2011
Ben Fowler & Cole Healey Shine with 4 Wins each at the NB Indoor Track Champs
Oromocto N.B., February 12, 2011:Forty members of the Saint John Track Club competed at the New Brunswick Indoor Championships this past weekend in Oromocto. The club was led by Ben Fowler who won 4 events in the men’s 14-15 age group. Young Cole Healey, in age 11 & under category, had an outstanding day winning the 3 event (triathlon) which combined his results of the shot put, 60 M sprint and long jump for an overall performance. Cole also went on to win the 1000m in his age group.
Other multiple event winners were, Grace Annear of Hampton (400m and 800m), Nick MacMackin (400m and 800m), Katie Robinson (800m and 1500m), Josh Shanks (1200m and 2000m), Jack Tilley (800m and 1200m), Andrew Patterson (60m Hurdles and High Jump) and Alex Coffin (800m and 1500m) who ran in the masters section. Hannah Arsenault ran to a 2000m indoor provincial record in the Girls 14-15 age group.
SJTC competed for total points to secure provincial club championships. This made for as exciting day of competiton as SJTC was one of the largest track clubs present and placed a close second behind the winning club, Fredericton Fast Tracks. There were many personal bests and over 60 top 3 finishes. Look at the complete results at www.anb.ca
