Legion National Youth Track & Field Championships

The Saint John Track & Field Club proudly supports athletes each year as they work toward qualifying for and competing at the Royal Canadian Legion National Youth Track & Field Championships. Through coaching, training programs, and competitive opportunities, the Saint John Track Club helps young athletes develop the skills and experience needed to compete with some of the top athletes across Canada.

Often serving as a stepping stone to national teams, international competition, and the Olympic Games, the Royal Canadian Legion National Youth Track & Field Championships is the Legion’s premier youth track and field event for athletes aged 14–17. It brings together more than 1,000 of Canada’s top young athletes in a high-performance environment designed to foster both development and competition.

Originating from the Legion’s post–World War II commitment to youth fitness, the Championships have grown into one of the country’s most important pathways for emerging athletes, continuing to play a key role in athlete development across Canada.
