School & Community Programs

The Saint John Track & Field Club offers a wide range of programs designed specifically for school-aged athletes who are not part of our regular track and field programming. These programs provide fun, accessible opportunities to stay active, build fitness, and develop movement skills throughout the year. Check out some great options below!

  • There’s nothing like running in the fall with crisp air, changing leaves, and the energy of being part of a team at your back. Whether you’re brand new to running or already love to race, you’ll learn how to pace yourself, improve your endurance, and challenge yourself in a supportive, encouraging environment. With teammates cheering you on and coaches guiding every step, you’ll discover just how strong and capable you can be—while making great friends along the way. Lace up your shoes and come run with us!

  • Winter doesn’t slow us down—it brings the excitement indoors! Our indoor track meets are a fun and welcoming way for elementary and middle school students to experience the thrill of competition. From sprints and relays to jumps and throws, there’s something for everyone, whether you’re trying an event for the first time or building on your skills. With a high-energy atmosphere, supportive coaches, and teammates cheering you on, athletes gain confidence, stay active through the winter, and discover just how much they can achieve. Come join the action and be part of the fun!

  • Our 5-week Trail Kids program is a great introduction to running for kids ages 4–12. Set on beautiful local trails, it focuses on building confidence, improving endurance, and helping young runners develop a love for the outdoors. With supportive coaching and a relaxed, encouraging atmosphere, it’s the perfect way for kids to get active and enjoy the experience of running in nature.

  • For middle and high school athletes who play other sports, this program delivers the conditioning and strength needed to stay competitive. It’s an effective way to boost fitness, lower injury risk, and build confidence heading into your primary season.
